The Arpaia family, New York City’s most prolific restaurant dynasty, has done it again. Known for La Tavernetta, Lello, Scarlatti, Cellini, Bellini, and Aqua Pazza, patriarch Lello Arpaia and son Dino partnered to create Fiorini in August 2006.
Lello's son, Dino, currently oversees Cellini. His daughter, Donatella, always the creative restaurateur/entrepreneur, launched the critically acclaimed Manhattan restaurants David Burke & Donatella, Dona, Mia Dona, Anthos, Kefi, Donatella, and DBar in Manhattan. She currently owns and oversees Kefi, Donatella, and DBar. She is a regular guest judge on the Food Network's "Next Iron Chef," and "Iron Chef America," and a contributor to NBC's "Today Show."
Fiorini (Little Flower) is a stylish, romantic, regional Italian restaurant in Manhattan's Midtown East. This contemporary Italian trattoria, designed by owner Lello Arpaia, showcases classic, regional Italian dishes refined and updated with a modern flair at moderate prices. They are rooted in the freshest, highest quality ingredients available -- a reflection of Lello's (shown to the right) passionate commitment to authentic Italian cuisine. He is equally dedicated to fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere, one built on the firm foundation of knowledgeable, gracious service from a staff of hospitality professionals.
Fiorini, conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan at 209 East 56th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, is open Monday through Saturday for dinner and Monday through Friday for lunch. It is closed on Sunday.
